I’d like to volunteer

Jesus calls us to serve others. To grow as a disciple of Jesus, to follow on his path, to be Christians who make a difference to the lives of others, to use our skills and talents to build up the community here in Basingstoke.

Much of what we do couldn’t happen without our volunteers, who give their time freely. is led and run by volunteers.

Can you help us?

Click on a ministry or role from the list below and enter your details. One of our volunteer coordinators will get back to you.

A reader or Eucharistic minister

You need to be a regular attender at Mass, be in communion with the Catholic Church and have received the sacrament of First Holy Communion.

Eucharistic ministers also need to have received the sacrament of Confirmation. Readers also need to be able to read English and speak it clearly.

    I'd like to volunteer as

    A singer or musician

Each music group has different requirements. We’ll tell you more when we reply to your enquiry.

      An altar server

You must be dedicated and willing to learn. If you are a child, you must have been baptised and received your First Holy Communion and have parental approval. If you are an adult, you must have at least received a canonically recognised baptism and be received into the Catholic Church. You must also be able to pass a Disclosure & Barring Service check (DBS).

        A flower arranger

          Something else

We haven’t listed everything that we do here, so if you have a skill or a talent you would like to share, tell us about it below.
