Deacon Tony reflects: Feasting on the Word of God
While we are to fast from things which weaken us, we should be feasting on things which build up our faith this Lent.
Deacon Tony reflects: If you want to, you can help me
We don’t see any lepers in the streets of Southern England, but we still see outcasts. Excluded people are looking to us as the Body of Christ today and saying “If you want to, you can help me”.
Deacon Tony reflects: We do not walk alone
We do not walk alone on our journey; God is always with us. We also have the accompaniment of our fellow travellers to encourage and support us. We are part of the Body of Christ which is at the same time, an awesome privilege and a great responsibility.
